This diploma thesis written by Adela Stanislavova explores the issue of access to land in Czech Republic by comparing with other europeans countries such as France, Germany and Romania.
The thesis was supervised by Vratislava Janovska from the Czech University of Life Sciences of Prague. It aims to review and analyse the various obstacles to access to land in the Czech Republic and to offer some solutions by exploring European initiatives from French, German and Romanian organisations.It explains how these initiatives can facilitate access to land for new entrants to farming and how its can help to secure farm succession for new entrant.
This comparative study gives good descriptions of the Access to Land network and of three of its members : Terre de Liens (France), Regionalwert AG (Germany) and Eco Ruralis (Romania).
