Access To Land
Organiclea is a community food project based on a 12 acre site in the Lea Valley in north-east London. We produce and distribute food and plants locally, and inspire and support others to do the same. With a workers’ cooperative at our core, we bring people together to take action towards a more just and sustainable society. We offer a box scheme, market stalls, training opportunities, outreach work, volunteering opportunities and much more.
In 2015 we launched the OrganicLea “Farm Start” project as part of our work towards a more socially and environmentally just food system for all. This project involves supporting, coordinating and enabling the creation of new grow-to-sell food growing projects. One of our long term goals is to be just one amongst hundreds of similar projects within London and beyond!
