Access To Land

Nourish Scotland

Nourish Scotland is an organisation working for a systemic approach to transforming the food system. Our distinctive contribution is that we read across food issues – health, inequality and social justice, environmental justice, and the local food economy. We also link the levels, supporting grassroots community efforts and influencing national policy and legislation – and using each to inform the other.

We are currently working on a consultancy basis for the Scottish Farm Land Trust to complete a feasibility study to inform the business plan of the trust and keep access to farm land on the political agenda.

We also run trainings and support programmes for new entrants to farming; previously in the shape of a new farmer programme, and we are currently running a Making a Living from Local Food Programme.
