Access To Land

IFOAM EU - International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements EU

IFOAM EU - International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements EU - is the European umbrella organisation for organic food and farming. We fight for the adoption of ecologically, socially and economically sound systems based on the principles of organic agriculture – health, ecology, fairness and care.

With more than 180 member organisations our work spans the entire organic food chain and beyond: from farmers and processors, retailers, certifiers, consultants, traders and researchers to environmental and consumer advocacy bodies.

To support the development of organic and agroecological land management, IFOAM EU ensures that the organic movement is at the heart of EU decision-making - from moving towards a more sustainable Common Agricultural Policy and acting on climate change, to safeguarding agrobiodiversity and preventing GMO contamination.
