Access To Land
On 5 December 2016, the Member of the European Parliament Maria Noichl (S&D, Germany) presents her draft report and draft recommendation "State of play of farmland concentration in the EU: how to facilitate the access to land for farmers" before the Agricultural Committee of the European Parliament.
This is the first presentation of an MEP before the Parliament on this issue, which the Agricultural Committee decided to have as an own-initiative report earlier this year. The presentation is followed by a debate with other Members of the European Parliament. Amendments can be tabled until 9 December. The vote on the report is scheduled on 28 February 2017.
