Consorci del Parc Agrari del Baix Llobregat

The consortium of the Parc Agrari del Baix Llobregat is a public body that manages an agricultural area of ​​about 3,500 ha. This consortium is formed by the Barcelona Provincial Council (Diputació de Barcelona), the Regional Council of Baix Llobregat (Consell Comarcal del Baix Llobregat), the Farmers Union (Unió de Pagesos), the Government of Catalonia and 14 municipalities. The Consortium has established three lines of support for access to land:

 Recovery Program for Abandoned Lands: this program aims to recover abandoned fields, through a line of subsidy for land recovery (both for new recruits or expanding the farming area)

 Management protocol for the Farmland Bank of the Parc Agrari del Baix Llobregat (PROBOT). This program contacts land lease or sale bidders and applicants.

 Promoting the introduction of new agricultural enterprises by taking an introductory course to farming knowledge and through a mentoring and monitoring of initiation to complementary activity.
