On 7-8 September in Brussels, the European Association of Rural Development Institutions (AEIAR) is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and organising a conference on the future land use of rural and peri-urban areas.
Day 1 will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the network and introduce the instruments and projects of the host organisation, the Belgium Vlaamse Landmaatschappij (VLM). Day 2 will be composed of keynotes speeches and roundtables on issues surch as the ’Evolution of farm structure in Europe’, ’Challenges of future land use in Europe’ or ’AEIAR members’ experiences with land management policies and instruments’.
